In March, Altice Labs received four school visits at its facilities, giving dozens of students the opportunity to learn about technological innovations in hardware and software and to better understand the work that is done at Altice Labs.

On March 10th, we received a visit from four computer engineering students from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.

After watching a presentation on Altice Labs, they saw a demonstration of SmartHome and Television.  This was followed by a presentation by the Operations Support Systems department and a tour of the prototype development laboratory, the Museum and Future Labs.

On March 21st, it was time for a group of 12th grade students to attend the Management Informatics Technician and Automobile Mechatronics Technician courses to get to know Altice Labs. The visit included an institutional presentation and a tour of the prototype development laboratory, the climate testing laboratory, the museum and Future Labs.

On March 22nd, Altice Labs welcomed three award-winning students: Duarte Guimarães (student excellence award 2023), Gabriel Ribeira and Mariana Marques (winners of the Media Play 2023 disruptive award from the University of Aveiro). The students had the opportunity to attend an institutional presentation by Altice Labs and also about the Network Systems Development Department. They also saw a demonstration of SmartHome and Television and learned more about the prototype development laboratory; museum; Future Labs and Certification and Compliance Testing Laboratories.

On March 30, 12th grade students from the Computer Equipment Management Technical course at the Digital Technology Professional School came to our facilities. The students were able to get to know the NETQ solution, visit the Certification and Conformity Testing Laboratory, the Prototype Development Laboratory and also get to know SmartAL and the Immersive Booth located in the leisure room.
