About us
The AlticeLabs@UA lab was created in July 2016 through a protocol signed between the Rectory of the University of Aveiro and Altice Labs.
AlticeLabs@UA physically exists on the premises of the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA) with the purpose of joint development of academic and scientific projects between the University of Aveiro and Altice Labs, focusing on the following scientific and technological areas related to:
- Development of emerging web services;
- IPTV and digital content;
- Application usability and user experience;
- Collaborative or social experience systems;
- IoT applications;
- Development for Cloud Systems;
