Future Labs is the Digital Innovation Lab of Altice Labs, an open space community for rapid prototyping and experimentation, allowing the development of new concepts, trends, technologies and tools in a controlled environment through equipment and tools in the areas of electronics, programming, robotics, sensors and automation. It will feature mentors from Altice Labs and communities of makers to help you learn and test prototype ideas. It is also a space for sharing knowledge, for discovering new experiences, creation os new areas of knowledge.
Internally, it allows to integrate in the daily life of Altice Labs the exploratory capacity of the universities, the pragmatism and efficiency of the startups and the boldness of the technological SMEs. It aims to enable (re) learn to tinker, “hack”, experiment, reinvent and revalorize the know-how that has always been the motto of Altice Labs.
Externally, it demonstrates the state of the art of the technology market, providing a space where the entities of the scientific and technological community, customers and business partners of the company can contact with the current trends of FabLabs, Makerfairs, Hackathons, among others. It will also serve as a platform for supporting collaborative programs with schools where students can better understand what technology is and carry out proofs of concept, materializing classroom theory.
