During December, some Altice Labs employees delivered almost 340 kgs of toys (educational games, soft toys, puzzles, among others) to four institutions in the district of Aveiro, namely Centro Social Santa Joana Princesa; Patronato de Nossa Srª de Fátima; Fundação Padre Félix and Casci – Centro de Acção Social doConcelho de Ílhavo.
This initiative aimed to bring some of the magic of Christmas and joy to the most disadvantaged children. Some of the toys donated were from “Oficina do Brinquedo”, a project where a group of volunteers from Altice Labs collected and repaired used toys to give them a new life. Others were delivered during the month by employees, as part of the “Offer a toy and make a child happy this Christmas” initiative.
