On July 10th, a Partnership Agreement between Altice Labs and the Casa Hermes Foundation/Museum of Medicine and Health – Skope was signed by Alcino Lavrador, General Manager of Altice Labs and Francisco Castanhas (representative of the Casa Hermes Foundation). Also present were João Paulo Firmeza and Ana Margarida Almeida, from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department at Altice Labs, and Rita Gíria from the Casa Hermes Foundation.

The Museum of Medicine and Health, which is scheduled to open in 2024 at the Casa Museu Dr. Hermes in Aveiro, aims to be, in addition to a space for enhancing the collection of the doctor and collector Hermes de Oliveira Castanhas and the history of medicine, a center for knowledge and health education. The museum also aims to promote, develop, and support initiatives of a cultural, scientific and social nature, in different areas of scientific research, the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and development.

This partnership agreement with Altice Labs has the goal to implement initiatives that contribute positively to the promotion of the Museum and the dissemination of information and communication technologies in the health ecosystem. Among the actions planned is a permanent demonstrator on the medicine of the future, which is being designed by Altice Labs.
