Altice Labs participated in the opening session of the academic year for students of the 1st year of the degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering of Porto Superior Institute of Engineering

In September, Altice Labs participated in the opening session of the academic year for students of the 1st year of the degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering of Porto Superior Institute of Engineering. Jorge Carapinha, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department, made a presentation entitled “5G – Opportunities and Challenges”, which focused on some of the 5G’s main technological advances, as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with it. The presentation included a brief presentation of Altice Labs and the 5G trial recently made.

The presentation also served as a theme for a work around the 5G theme, to be carried out by 1^st year students in the first weeks of the course, aiming at developing their research, collaboration and communication skills.
