Satellite communications (SatComs) have recently entered a period of renewed interest driven by technological advances and fueled by new investments. The main drivers of innovation are the new satellite constellations, onboard processing capabilities, non-terrestrial networks and the collection/processing of data obtained from space.
This Tech Day aims to capture the state of the art of SatComs and highlight the most promising research topics, such as 5G integration, space communications, earth observation, aeronautical and maritime tracking and communications.
