Altice Labs Technology in CMTV’s “Falar Global” TV Program
CMTV’s “Falar Global” TV program, which portrays new technologies, trends, behaviors and innovation in portuguese society, carried out a report about the technology developed by Altice Labs.
This report shows the laboratories where the development, prototyping and testing of telecommunications equipment takes place and presents some of the technologies developed at Altice Labs which “is internationally recognized and respected, and therefore an ambassador for the best that’s is being made in Portugal in terms of engineering”, as mentioned by Alcino Lavrador, General Manager of Altice Labs, in an interview where he talks about how these technologies are improving people’s lives around the world.

Paulo Firmeza participates in the webshow “The Innovation Office”
Altice Labs’ General Manager, Paulo Firmeza, was the latest guest on the webshow “The Innovation Office”. In this interview conducted by Lara Campos Tropa, Partner Ecosystem Leader at IBM, and Marco António Silva, National Innovation Officer at Microsoft Portugal, Paulo Firmeza provides an overview of the ecosystem in which Altice Labs operates, emphasizing the importance of collaborations with clients, universities, startups, and the industry in general. In parallel, he discusses the achievements and goals of Altice Labs, explaining how the company thrives in a culture of creativity, innovation, and constant learning through trial and error.
Throughout the conversation, he also highlighted several areas of the company’s focus, particularly in terms of 5G and 6G technologies, cybersecurity, quantum communications, optical communications, operations support systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning.
