An online workshop on “5G” was held on March 23rd. The session was led by Pedro Miguel Matos, from Altice Labs’ Network Systems Development department, who made a brief presentation about Altice Labs, and by Francisco Fontes, from Altice Labs’ Innovation and Technology Strategy department, who presented the 5G technology.
This event was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Institute of Engineering of the University of Algarve in collaboration with Altice Labs, being the second Technical Workshop held in this academic year.
In addition to sharing knowledge, the purpose of this type of initiative is to bring Altice Labs’ Hub of Olhão closer to the University of Algarve.
