Following the cooperation protocol that Altice Labs recently completed with the PICB – Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, it was possible to receive, on the 23rd November, approximately 40 students of the Degree and Master courses in Telecommunications and Computer Science.
The PICB students had access to the Altice Labs presentation, its innovation ecosystem and some IoT (Internet of Things) demonstrations, as well as visiting its testing and development laboratories, and also passing by a demonstration of IoT solutions and Network Virtualization.
The PICB continues to maintain an active interest in knowledge sharing between researchers and students in relevant areas such as Smart Cities and IoT, where it has been investing.
This initiative is part of Altice Labs’ strategy of proximity with universities.
