On the 12th December, Altice Labs had a visit from a CableLabs delegation, led by Ralph Brown (Chief Technology Officer), Ike Elliott (Chief Strategy Officer) and Belal Hamzeh (Vice President Wireless Technologies Research and Development).
CableLabs, has 56 members, and Altice is one of them. Headquartered in the United States, it is the Innovation and R&D entity of the cable television industry, and is responsible for the specifications and development of technologies that guarantee the delivery of high speed data, video, voice and next generation services on HFC networks.
This visit enabled a mutual knowledge sharing between the two organizations and allowed to proceed with proposals for lines of collaboration in strategic innovation areas in the networks and telecommunications services evolution.
The visit ended after passing through Altice Labs network laboratories.
