On the 4th of May, Jorge Carapinha, from Altice Labs’ Innovation and Technology Strategy department, participated in a session at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, as part of the Master’s subjects “Communication Network Technologies” and “Resilient Networks”, at the invitation of Professor Teresa Gomes.
The presentation, entitled “New Challenges and Solutions to Network Resilience: A Practical Approach”, focused on the main trends in the evolution of telecommunications network technologies, with emphasis on network virtualization and 5G, and the impact on network resilience. Jorge Carapinha also presented the results of some of the collaborative projects with Altice Labs’ participation in these areas.
