Altice Labs received a visit from the United Nations University – Operating Unit on Policy Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) on the 10th November 2017.
The visit is part of a training organized by UNU-EGOV for a team of 18 members of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Indonesia.
As a team mainly connected to telecommunications and UNU-EGOV being responsible for linking up with Portuguese companies and R&D units, the committee asked Altice Labs to present the national state-of-the-art technological development, having been received by the general director of Altice Labs, Alcino Lavrador, who introduced the company, its history, vision and mission, its business areas, some of the projects currently under development, the value of its laboratories and the innovation culture that involves the company.
This was followed by a guided tour to Altice Labs campus with special emphasis on the following areas of activity:
– Network Systems, with a visit to the development, prototype and testing laboratories;
– Operations support systems with a NetQ product demo;
– Network and Platforms services, with a Smart 2M product demonstration;
– Digital, Internet and Television services, with a SmartAL product demonstration;
– Future Labs.
