The GPS network – Global Portuguese Scientists is a digital platform which main goal is to know how many, where are they and how are the pathways of portuguese scientists around the world.

It aims to foster the collaboration amongst the portuguese scientists that work in the diaspora and to increase their visibilitiy and recognition in Portugal.

It is an initiative by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation, accomplished through a collaboration with the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture – Ciência Viva, the University of Aveiro and Altice Labs.

Altice Labs contribution consisted in providing the SAPO Campus platform, which has undergone a significant technological update for this project, in which elements associated with the AlticeLabs@UA laboratory were actively involved.

It is a national and international milestone that will contribute to the scientific collaboration of portuguese people around the world.
