From the 2nd to 11th July, a summer programme was organized, “The Lisbon Experience: Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation“, whose purpose was to bring together the academic excellence and the Lisbon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, to have an impact on students’ academic and professional choices. During 10 intensive days, participants had access to master classes, field trips and workshops that revolve around 3 themes: entrepreneurship, social innovation and responsible leadership.
Thus, during the afternoon of the 4th July, the participants were at ENTER where:
– They got to know the space, as well as the areas, projects and associates of the open innovation programme of Altice Labs;
– Ricardo Lima, Head of Startups of the Web Summit, shared the way the organization sees Lisbon as an entrepreneurial system and the route that startups have in the event itself;
– They presented the pitch of the final work, after having developed the Business Model Canvas and Customer Development.
The participants, almost all foreigners (from China to Colombia), aged between 19 and 23, came from areas as diverse as Anthropology to International Management. During their passage through the ENTER, an effort was made to show why Portugal is one of the biggest and most coveted hubs in the world.
