Fulfilling its role as a space for sharing knowledge and discovering new experiences, Future Labs held another workshop on the 8th September 2017.

This was the 2nd edition of the Raspberry Pi workshop, addressed to those enrolled in the first session but who, due to the limited number of places, had been excluded.

Paulo Gonçalves, from the Network Systems Development Direction, was the host of the session that was attended by 20 attentive and participative people.

Several models and types of operating systems allowed by the equipment were presented in this Raspberry Pi introductory session. Paulo Gonçalves also had the opportunity to present several use cases related to his personal experience in the field of home automation, gaming and media center, always with the concern of being cost-effective implementations using  materials that are easy to find in the market.

These sessions are intended, on the one hand, to provide those interested in the subject with some basic knowledge, and on the other hand, to stimulate a local community of Rasberry Pi programmers, promoting the use of this platform in playful and smart living projects.
