PT Inovação organized on 16th of September, in collaboration with the Aveiro Delegation of the Engineers Order (OE), the national seminar “Factory of the Future”, for the dissemination of the results obtained by the Fitman project.

The Fitman project took place during the last 30 months and aimed to test and validate the FIWARE platform, a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) promoted by the European Union and extend this platform to the industry by developing new facilitators. To this end, there were 10 field experiments implemented in four major companies (Volkswagen, Agusta Westland, Whirlpool and TRW) and 6 SMEs, among which included Consulgal, a Portuguese company operating in the construction sector.

This project involved the participation of 28 European partners spread over 9 countries and obtained a funding of approximately 13 million Euros.

The seminar “Factory of the Future” included a room for technical demonstrations, parallel meetings on opportunities in the H2020 program and a session in OE Auditorium with a period of debate about the issues presented.

There was a high adhesion to the event, to which it contributed a communication strategy aimed at four target audience segments: industry, academia, startups and the portfolio of industrial customers of the PT Group.

The video of this event will be available soon on the YouTube channel of the project Fitman.
