PT Inovação was awarded at the TADHack Global 2015, the world’s largest programming competition for Telecom applications.
The award-winning hack, MIDIN, consisted of an innovative prototype that allows musicians, geographically distributed, to collaborate on songwriting. The MIDIN also allows the practice of distance education and e-Learning.
The elements of MIDIN team were Fábio Gonçalves and Micael Pedrosa, from PT Inovação’s Technological Coordination and Exploratory Innovation department, and Pedro Rocha from Network Systems and Platforms department. The hack MIDIN was based on WebRTC technology, IoT (Internet of Things) and Identity Management and used APIs Apidaze and Acision.
The TADHack Global 2015 had more than 1200 participants. It is a hackathon (programming marathon) simultaneously organized in several cities like Chicago, Raleigh, London, Dublin, Madrid, New Delhi, Colombo, Jaffna, Israel, Istanbul, Bangladesh, Melbourne and Buenos Aires. It is also intended to help programmers to find the best ways to add to communication to their applications, services and business processes.
