Coordinated by the Society of Systematic Innovation and carried out in partnership with Nova University of Lisbon, the 7th edition of the International Conference about Systematic Innovation focused, among others, on the themes of product innovation, systematic innovation, entrepreneurship, open innovation, intellectual property, computer-aided processes and other new tools, theories and applications related to systematic innovation, like TRIZ.
This conference, held at Monte da Caparica, at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, on the 20th, 21st and 22nd July, counted with the presence of Ana Patrícia Monteiro, from the Innovation and Technological Coordination Department, who gave a presentation entitled “Building a Long Lasting Systematic Innovation Ecosystem” addressing the way Altice Labs has, along the years of its history, been building and feeding an interactions ecosystem in order to share knowledge and, mainly, innovation and its capacity for getting ahead in the areas where it operates.
“The goal of my presentation was to highlight the importance of innovation as a daily concern. It’s very simple to be innovative just on time instead of being consistently and systematically innovative, giving focus to all iniciatives and activities that are being carried out at Altice Labs and which contribute to that systematization”, as Ana Patrícia Monteiro notes.
Beyond the usual presentations, this conference promoted a global competition on systematic innovation, now in its 6th edition, where several projects, related with product innovation were presented and evaluated by an international jury.
