Pediatric First Aid Workshop

Knowing what to do in emergency situations is the first step to save a victim and when the victim is a child the care and the way of acting differ from situations involving adults, so knowing how to react, having the necessary and appropriate knowledge can be decisive in maintaining the life of a child at risk.

Altice Labs held a workshop on Pediatric First Aid, on the 26^th February, where the following topics were approached: Life Basic; Hemorrhages; Wounds; Burns; Poisoning; Epilepsy; Head and Neck Injuries.

This workshop was guaranteed by Dr Nísia Almeida, a Portuguese Red Cross trainer, who shared her knowledge on this subject with more than 60 Altice Labs employees.
