Internship Fair – Universidade do Algarve
On November 21, the Universidade do Algarve (UAlg) hosted another edition of the Internship Fair, held at the Penha Campus in Faro. Organized for the first time in 2022, this event aims to establish connections between the academic community and the business world, providing students with internship opportunities (academic, professional, or summer), ensuring the development of a professional career.
UAlg students and recent graduates had the opportunity to directly engage with companies and institutions seeking candidates, including Altice Labs. The participants left the event with not only internship prospects but also with a new understanding of the company’s areas of activity.
This year, and in line with the previous year, we were joined by Fernando Afonso and Célio Abreu at the event, whom we would like to thank for attending.
Job Fair University 5.0 – Universidade de Aveiro (UA)
From November 21 to 23, another edition of the Job Fair – University 5.0 took place at the Universidade de Aveiro.
This event was attended by more than 120 companies and more than a hundred students from several fields interested in exploring diverse job and internship opportunities.
With a stand on the first day of the event, Altice Labs had the opportunity and pleasure to meet the academic community and introduce not only curricular and professional internship opportunities but also to showcase some of the gadgets developed by our summer interns, including the new cube equipped with motors connected to inertia wheels. Several young people were also interviewed.
This approach allowed the students to interact directly with the company’s professionals and learn about internship offers and even potential opportunities within the company.

Electrotechnics Days – Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP)
On November 22, Altice Labs was present at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto as part of the latest edition of the Electrotechnics Days X, organized by the Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering Student Group.
These days are held annually and consist of a job fair as well as many other activities, the main objective of which is the interaction and valuable exchange of ideas between students and professionals, creating a collaborative atmosphere between students and companies from different fields of activity.
This year, Altice Labs had the pleasure of being joined by intern Francisco Izequierdo.
Universidade de Coimbra (UC) & Associação Académica de Coimbra (AAC) Job Fair
Altice Labs’ participation in the UC & AAC Job Fair, held on November 24 and 25 in Coimbra, was marked by a proactive approach to establish meaningful connections with students, especially finalists and recent graduates.
The company’s main goal during the event was to promote awareness about its area of expertise and enhance recruitment opportunities, including internship programs. Altice Labs’ stand was designed to provide an interactive experience, and company representatives were available to provide detailed information about recruitment processes and organizational culture. Simultaneously with the fair, various activities were taking place, including corporate presentations. At the end of the day, there was a networking session, in which Altice Labs was delighted to participate.
