Workshop on how to build a CV

On April 13th, as part of FEUP Engineering Days 2023, Altice Labs had the opportunity to hold a workshop entitled “ How to build a CV – Your window of opportunity!”. This meeting was led by André Carvalho, from the Human Resources Department of Altice Labs.

The workshop took place online and was attended by 22 students from various areas, including Computer Engineering and Data Science and Engineering.

This activity enabled the sharing of knowledge and ideas on the subject, referring to the importance of a curriculum vitæ, the essential and central steps for its construction, the relevance of LinkedIn nowadays, and also some tips on how to adapt the CV to each function.

At the end of the session, there was room for a fun activity that allowed participants to interact and ask questions about the topic.

Overall, the workshop was a success and the Human Resources Department intends to maintain this proximity to the students by promoting more initiatives of this nature as a way of helping them to improve their skills.
