PT Inovação e Sistemas demonstrated the Online-Gym prototype at the International Animation Film Festival Bang Awards, held on June 6 and 7 in Torres Vedras.
Invited by the festival’s organization, PT Inovação e Sistemas adapted and demonstrated the 3D multiuser virtual gym prototype develop in partnership with INESC-TEC under the Innovation Plan program 2013-2014.
For this specific event was created a scenario that allowed visitors to interact with the system as superheroes through Kinect motion detection. The scenario was permanently projected in the castle’s tower, being widely visible from the city.
By promoting the contact between the public and emergent technologies in a recreational context PT Inovação e Sistemas has able to show the potential of this approach for eHealth and Well Being services and applications and, at the same time, collect feedback from users.
The Bang Awards Festival was free and aimed at all types of audiences with the purpose of promoting culture, animation film artists, technological innovation and music.
