A team from the Networks and Platforms Services department of Altice Labs was on the French island of Réunion, to held a training session for SFR Réunion (SRR) customer. As part of the OCS Supply for SRR project, this session, which took place from the 1st to 13th April, focused on the following modules: Solution Overview and Product Catalog. The SRR encompasses 2 french overseas territories (Reunion Island and Mayotte), covering a total of 500 thousand customers.

This project aims to implement the NGIN CCP Convergent Policy and Charging system, which will act as the billing and traffic control solution for SRR’s prepaid and postpaid mobile customers.

NGIN CCP will replace a legacy platform that, like all new solutions, will certainly bring several new technological challenges to the customer’s technical teams. This phase is critical to the project’s success, since it allowed the different customer areas a first contact with the new solution, duly accompanied by the Altice Labs team, and received very positive feedback from the trainees.
