On November 15, the 129th TechDay @ Altice Labs took place, focusing on the theme “Navigating the Design System’s Scalability: Bridging the Gap Between B2B and B2C”.

The opening remarks were made by Daniela Rei from Altice Labs, who framed the theme and introduced Altice Labs’ vision and practice in this domain.

After that, Priscila Cunha and Patrícia Meireles from Bosch Aveiro spoke on the subject “Synergy in Bosch Design: B2B & B2C Ecosystems”. They presented the development principles of the design tools associated with the products developed by Bosch, which they generically referred to as the “Bosch Digital Design System”.

Next, Joana Domingues and Raquel Cabrita from EDP spoke, emphasizing the magnitude of the challenge of creating a common design to be used by teams spread across different countries and cultures where EDP operates.

The last speakers were Pedro Silva and André Luís from GitLab, who gave their presentations based on the theme “Pajamas Design System”. An interesting aspect about this company is that it operates exclusively remotely, with over 2,000 employees spread across more than 60 countries, serving a universe of more than 30 million people who use its products.

This 129th TechDay ended with a Q&A session.
