During the morning of the 20th of December, some Altice Labs employees delivered toys to institutions in the Aveiro district.
In total, 340 kgs of toys (didactic games, soft toys, puzzles among others) were offered to four institutions in the region: Centro Social Santa Joana Princesa, Patronato de Nossa Srª de Fátima, Fundação Padre Félix e Casci – Centro de Acção Social do concelho de Ílhavo.
This initiative aimed to bring a bit of Christmas magic and joy to underprivileged children. Part of the donated toys belonged to Oficina do Brinquedo, a project where a group of volunteers from Altice Labs collected and repaired used toys to give them a new life. Others were delivered during the month of December by company employees, as part of the challenge “Give a toy and make a child happy this Christmas”.
