MEO has recently launched the TV MEO app for LG Smart TVs, developed by the Digital Platforms and Services team at Altice Labs. This release reinforces MEO’s commitment to technological innovation, sustainability, and continuously enhancing the customer experience. 

The new app allows users to access MEO’s television service directly on LG Smart TVs without the need for a set-top box, offering greater convenience, flexibility, and an eco-friendlier TV experience. 

Following the successful launch on Samsung’s platform in December 2024, the app’s availability for LG (now on the LG Content Store) is part of MEO’s omnichannel strategy to make its service accessible across multiple platforms, adapting to consumer habits and preferences. This approach ensures the continuity of MEO’s technological excellence while expanding its ecosystem of compatible devices. 

The launch marks the successful conclusion of a project led by Altice Labs, in close collaboration with MEO’s Engineering and Operations team. 

The TV MEO app for LG and Samsung provides full access to all MEO TV features, maintaining the same quality, speed, and interactivity as the Android TV set-top box.
