To celebrate International Women’s Day, on March 8th we promoted a social gathering on female work with four Altice Labs’ employees as special guests: Gabriela Moura, from Human Resources, Suzete Simões the Network Services and Platforms department, Daniela Rei from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department, and Catarina Mónica from the Operations Support Systems department. The debate was moderated by Ana Margarida Almeida, also from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department, who started by recalling the impact of Carolina Beatriz Ângelo on the female work context, as she was the first woman surgeon and the first woman able to vote in Portugal, on the account of the Constituent Assembly elections in 1911.
For about an hour, the panel of speakers addressed, in a relaxed and inspiring manner, multiple issues on women in the workplace or environment, with a special mention to experiences they have gone through and continue to go through, in their professional careers.
