Taking advantage of the launch of the new 4K service and the EURO 2016, the MEO decided to provide an interactive application for MEO IPTV television service (ADSL and fiber).
The application, in addition to allowing customer to access to the most relevant information about the event (Teams, Games Schedule, Stats, News, Stadiums, Goal Scorers, among other areas), introduced a new feature called “Timeline”. Through the timeline, the customer can review the major movements of the games (live or recorded), an easy and intuitive way, with the option for issuing the events reported in real time (goals, dangerous moves and cards), and keep up the game live on screen corner.
According to Hugo Dias, “this project was developed by the team of Interactive Television (DIT1) of Altice Labs in record time, using all the know-how acquired over the past few years, showing once again that our company has the necessary skills to establish itself as one of the best in the development of interactive applications for television. We left a special thanks to the team for their commitment to this project: João Matos, Nuno Oliveira, Vitor Neves and Diogo Ferreira.”
