At Altice Labs we believe that combining theory with practice is the best way to start a career, which is why every year we open doors to students looking for their first experience in the world of work.

This year is no exception, and, during the summer months, we are welcoming a group of 16 students who have demonstrated their innovative identity. This initiative is part of Innovation Summer Camp 2023, an internship program made up of young university students and family members of Altice Labs employees and partners.

The first edition of this program began on July 3rd with a day full of activities. The morning began with a welcoming session which included a group dynamic where everyone was able to introduce themselves and get to know each other better, followed by an institutional presentation by Gabriela Moura from the Human Resources department, and a demonstration on SmartHome and Television by António Pereira, from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department. This was followed by a visit to some of Altice Labs’ spaces, namely the prototype development laboratory; the Certification and Conformity Testing laboratory and Future Labs. In the afternoon, the trainees took part in an Escape Room, run by Ricardo Machado and Daniel Correia, and tried to solve different puzzles.

Over the next few weeks, participants in the Innovation Summer Camp 2023 will have the opportunity to get to know Altice Labs’ business areas, interact with teams and understand what skills they should develop for their professional future. The trainees will be distributed across several teams and will work on different and innovative topics.
