On the 27th January, the final results of the City Action project were presented in Castelo Branco, at the Center for Innovative Companies. The project aimed to develop an operational hub for the smart city of the future, enabling a centralized management of its different systems, based on the information of the city and its citizens, promoting a noticeable improvement in the services provided to residents.

Filipe Cabral Pinto, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department, presented “City Governance Center & Smart Cities Middleware” and moderated the discussion on “Data management in the municipalities”, which was attended by Cláudia Domingues Soares, Councilor at the Municipal Council of Castelo Branco in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Development, Luís Miguel Silva, Senior Consultant at TICE.PT and Nuno Gomes, CEO of Exatronic and Leader of the City Action Project.
