The main activities within the scope of this laboratory include:

  • Resistibility to Overvoltage Tests – Evaluating the robustness of telecommunication equipment against surges caused by lightning strikes
  • User Safety Tests – Assessing user safety aspects of Information Technology Equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Environmental Tests – Evaluating the performance of telecommunication equipment, optical transceivers (Diplexers, Triplexers), and outdoor cabinets under different environmental conditions, including temperature, relative humidity (Climatogram), and exposure to Salt Mist (Ka Test)
  • Mechanical Tests – Conducting Drop, Vibration, Traction and Compression Tests to assess the robustness of enclosures for Information Technology Equipment, Copper Cables, Fiber Optic Cables, and telecommunication infrastructure devices such as anchoring clamps.
