On the 25th of October, Altice Labs hosted the 99th meetup of the Data Science Portugal (DSPT) group, in a face-to-face event on the theme “Learning from physiological signals”.
During the session, researcher Raquel Sebastião, from the Institute of Electronics and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro, presented examples of correlations of the Autonomic Nervous System in psychophysiological states, in different contexts, namely:
- Human assistance in dangerous scenarios
- Support to well-being
- Health support
- Biometric recognition
At the end there was an informal get-together to discuss the session’s themes, share knowledge in the area and, at the same time, promote the DS community in Aveiro.
