On June 18, another edition of Digital Interaction took place, this time under the theme “Surviving the Pandemic”.
This event, was promoted by DigiMedia – Digital Media and Interaction Research Center, an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Aveiro, focused on innovation and the design of new interaction approaches for human-centered digital media applications, was addressed to all those interested in digital media and aimed to promote the discussion on the relevance of digital interaction, in times of pandemic, for the social, affective and cognitive well-being of society.
Seeking to stimulate the meeting between the academic community and employers in the ICT area, Altice Labs participated in the session “NTC Ment Projects”, moderated by teacher Carlos Santos.
Focused on evaluating the projects of undergraduate and master’s degree students in the New Communication Technologies course, this session, where Altice Labs was represented through Ana Patrícia Monteiro had the participation of about 20 students where, in a pitch 7 minutes, had the opportunity to present their projects and receive feedback from the different companies present at the session.
At the end of the session, all participants reinforced the importance of these moments as a way to get closer to the business community and make their talent known, creating connections that, in the future, can help them start their professional career.
