Rui Mário, resident in Vila Nova de Gaia, is a 5-year-old child who has cerebral palsy as a result of asphyxia during birth. Although he cannot speak or walk, Rui “has the most fantastic smile in the world”, say his parents. Every week he undergoes therapies aimed at enhancing his development, but it is very difficult for his parents to afford the treatments, so collecting bottle caps “makes all the difference”!
Altice Labs was not indifferent and joined this cause by collecting caps during 3 months. In this solidarity movement, we managed to collect 36 kgs of plastic caps and 1.5 kgs of cork to help Rui Mário in his treatments.
