Altice Labs received the CEO of SFR, Michel Paulin, on the 17th January 2017 at its facilities in Aveiro.

The presence of Michel Paulin is a relevant and strategic milestone for the current partnership between Altice Labs and SFR and to strengthen ties between the two organizations in the future.

In order to better know the solutions and services developed at Altice Labs, the visit began with the company’s global vision, with Alcino Lavrador presenting the mission, vision, objectives, directions and ecosystem of innovation.

After the global presentation, the CEO of SFR was able to see the different solutions in the work places by visiting the Network and Platforms Services direction, where there were presented solutions and demonstrations of campaign management and unified communications products.

This was followed by a presentation of the Operations Support Systems, focusing on the NOSSIS architecture, processes and planing tools, registration, construction, provisioning and equipment management, with particular emphasis on detection and resolution of customer network problems.

The latest developments in the areas of TV, Internet and payment solutions were presented and demonstrated at the laboratories of Interactive TV, with focus on some innovative features.

The visit continued with the presentation of the Network Systems, with emphasis on the FTTH, GPON and NG-PON2 technologies and for the network laboratories, namely optical network, testing, industrialization, environmental certification and prototypes development laboratories.

The visit ended with the presentation of R&D projects in the 5G and Biga Data areas, with particular emphasis on two projects (Superfluidity and Big Data Analytics IPTV).
