The 5GZORRO project (2019-2022) was honored by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar, a platform that publishes and highlights, by country and entity, the innovative technologies developed within the European Union’s framework programs for encouraging and supporting innovation.
The goal of this project was to develop solutions for the automated management (zero-touch management) of services, networks and security in multi-operator environments, using Smart Contracts based on Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) in order to achieve greater agility in commercial relations between companies. The 5GZORRO consortium consisted of 13 partners from 7 European countries and was funded by the European Commission under the 5G PPP Phase 3, Part 4: 5G Long Term Evolution program. Altice Labs’ contribution focused on the identity and permission management module.
This is yet another recognition given to the Altice group’s main innovation, research and development engine. In addition to Project 5GZORRO, there are 20 other Altice Labs innovations highlighted by the European Commission, which are distributed between three areas: Secure Networks and Computing, Intelligent and Sustainable Society and Deep Technology, having been developed within 12 different projects.
