Andhra Pradesh State Fibernet Limited visits Altice Labs

On the 23^rd, 24^th and 25^th January 2019, Altice Labs received the visit of a delegation from India, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, CEO of Andhra Pradesh State Fibernet Limited and Mr. Hari Prasad, Technology Advisor, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

This visit is in the context of Altice Labs’ public tender to supply GPON equipment for the second phase of the high-speed FTTH network project in India in the state of Andrha Pradesh for a universe of 10 million residential customers.

The visit of this delegation focused essentially on presenting Altice Labs, its portfolio, its innovation ecosystem and the GPON solution development, as well as exploring new areas of future collaboration.

Innovative solutions for Smart Mesh WiFi, network management and its evolution to Cloud, interactive TV and operational support systems were presented for this purpose, with a demonstrations of each one.

The visit continued at HFA in Águeda to the GPON equipment production line, and it was followed by a visit to the NOC and to an Altice Portugal Center, with the CTO.
