Altice Labs at Aveiro University – Innovation Now! 2021

Altice Labs participated in the Innovation Now!2021 event, a symposium on technological innovation between students and professionals organized by BEST Aveiron (Board of European Students of Technology). This event aimed to promote the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experiences between students and professionals specialized in various areas of innovation, and was represented by Filipe Cabral Pinto, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department, in a lecture under the theme “Enhanced digital society: learning from data” on the 1st of June. This initiative is part of Altice Labs’ strategy to get closer to universities, particularly to the target audience.

Altice Labs at University 5.0 Job Fair at Aveiro University

Altice Labs participated in the University of Aveiro’s event called University Job Fair 5.0 which took place on the 16th of June, organized by the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv). This initiative allowed to be in contact with 9 students from various training areas to whom the projects available for internship were presented.

Visit of the Psychology Students’ Group of the University of Aveiro (NEP)

Altice Labs captures the interest of 5 students from the Psychology course of the University of Aveiro in a visit that took place on the 21st of June. The visit had a face-to-face format and it was possible to show its most emblematic places and how they impact in the motivation of its employees. The visit had the support of Fernando, from the Technology and Innovation Strategy department, in the presentation of the Museum and Future Labs, and of Gabriela Moura, from the Human Resources department, for the other places of interest.

Altice Labs at the Internship/Dissertation Day at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra

On the 23rd of June, Altice Labs presented the projects that were submitted for Internships/Dissertation at the Informatics department of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Coimbra University. There were 13 companies that competed for students of Data Science Engineering, Computer Science, Security and Design and Multimedia, competing with the projects that these same departments propose to their students. The event took place online, represented by Gabriela Moura, from the Human Resources department, having still had the opportunity to speak directly with some interested students. This initiative is part of the innovation management strategy in particular in attracting talent out of university.
