Altice Labs had the opportunity to give a class on transversal skills considered relevant for companies operating in the technological area, to approximately 100 students of the 2nd year of the Integrated Master in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Aveiro.
In the morning of the 13th December 2018, Gabriela Moura from the Human Resources department, having Altice Labs as a reference in technology companies of the region and country, gave these students a Human Resources vision on the real business needs in terms of soft skills, the most appropriate ways for students as candidates to develop and demonstrate their qualities and the most effective way of identifying the best professional options.
This moment was part of the curricular module, called “Career Management”, and its purpose was to provide students with skills knowledge that while not related to Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, are recognized as fundamental for projects development and for an engineer’s activity in the professional world.
From Altice Labs’ point of view, it was another opportunity to be in touch with a high-profile audience in its context of talent capture.
