Altice Labs present at the Vocational and Professional Fair 2018

Altice Labs was present at the Vocational and Professional Fair 2018 that took place in the Aveiro Exhibition Park on the 10^th and 11^th May.

Organized by the Municipality of Aveiro and the CLDS 3G Aveiro project, this Fair intends to combine a range of educational and training, professional and employment offers in a single event, which purpose is to provide students in the 9^th and 12^th grade with access and contact with different professional exits, contribute to the valuation of technical professions and, at the same time, train and refer the unemployed to job offers.

Arnaldo Santos from Altice Labs’ Business Development direction gave a presentation titled “My future in TICE” in an entrepreneurship education session. In this session, 12 projects were submitted to the contest “Your idea counts”, whose winner project was “Flower of Rage”.

In addition to the presentation of what has been done at Altice Labs over the years, special emphasis has been placed on new approaches to today’s world, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, Big Data and next-generation networks and services.

The research and development areas in which Altice Labs is involved, as well as the project areas associated with them, were also presented.
