For 4th time, Altice Labs was represented at the prestigious Job Fair of the University of Coimbra, organized by the Electrotechnical Engineering Student Nucleus of Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra. Around 24 companies presented their technological and employment potential to the engineering students who visited the event.

Altice Labs was at the job fair on the 24th September with a booth where the BotSchool project was presented by Nuno Honório and Pedro Pinto (Network and Platform Services) as well as a company presentation by Gabriela Moura (Human Resources) and interviews with some candidates by Inova-Ria, as promoter of the GENIUS Programme.

On the 9th October, began the 2nd edition of DETIdevs, organized by the Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering Department (DETI) of the University of Aveiro, in which Altice Labs was represented. This year, in addition to the usual booth, Altice Labs also participated in a workshop about Unity, held by Ricardo Machado (Digital, Internet & Television), which was attended by more than 20 students.

Presenting the company’s technological capacity to potential candidates is one of the main goals of these participations, with emphasis on Master students who can be part of the GENIUS Research Scholarship Programme. Supporting the event were also Fernando Morgado (Technology and Innovation Strategy), Gabriela Moura (Human Resources) and Regina Sacchetti (Inova-Ria), as well as two of the current GENIUS scholarship holders at Altice Labs and also DETI students: Patrícia Vale (Network Systems Development) and João Correia (Technology and Innovation Strategy).
