The sixth edition of the Costa Nova Popular Race took place on the 13th July, being considered since the first edition, by the organization and most of the athletes, as the fastest 10 km of Portugal.
The motto of the fastest 10 km has gained projection to the point of being already one of the most remarkable events of that locality, and of the municipality of Ílhavo. It is a route with very peculiar characteristics that make the connection between the Costa Nova beach and the Vagueira beach a real asphalt track, completely flat, with very slight curves and straight roads that do not exceed 1000 meters in length, which challenges the athletes’ performance, in a beautiful natural environment.
Altice Labs was once again present, with a team of 18 athletes who represented the company at a very competitive level, where several members of the team surpassed their personal records in a race with many participants from different parts of the country.
