Invited by the organization, Franscisco Fontes from the Technological and Innovation Coordination (CTI) represented Altice Labs at the “XI National Meeting of Informatic Students” (ENEI) which took place at the University of Aveiro from the 28th to 31st October, as a speaker and participant in the pannel “5G Challenges and the Informatic Engineering opportunities”.
Altice Labs presentation focused on the increasing role of software in telecommunications networks, in particular by the softwarization and programmability required for the 5G networks, with emphasis on the expected contribution of the SDN and NFV technologies.
