On the 10th of February, Filipe Cabral Pinto, from Altice Labs’ Innovation and Technology Strategy department, participated in “Thursdays with Science”, a weekly event organized by Fraunhofer Portugal with the purpose of disseminating technological innovation projects and initiatives.
In his presentation, he addressed the theme of intelligence as a support for the interconnection of 5G networks and advanced services.
The 5G Auto project was presented, which aims to investigate, develop and test innovative hardware and software solutions to support intelligent C-ITS transport services over the 5G V2X radio telecommunications infrastructure. The City Catalyst mobilizing project was also presented at this event, which aims to provide portuguese cities with new technological solutions and innovative services, becoming a reference for other world cities.
