Altice Labs participates in the “Patent Writing and Development, Utility Models and Trademarks” workshop

On the 23^rd October, a workshop was held at ISEC – Coimbra Engineering School on the theme “Writing and Development of Patents, Utility Models and Trademarks”.

Altice Labs was present with an intervention by Isilda Costa (Legal Department), entitled “Protecting Innovation: The Intellectual Property Law”.

The workshop also featured interventions by Ricardo Aguilar from the Pedro Nunes Institute (IPN), on the theme “Paths with the Future: Of Intellectual Property in IPN – Projects and Initiatives” and Luís Ferreira from Patentree, on the theme “Writing and Strategy for Obtaining Patents and Utility Models”.

The session ended with an interesting debate between the speakers and the participants, highlighting the importance of intellectual property rights both in research and development and in the economic activity of companies.
