Altice Labs was at the ITS European Congress, one of the largest events entirely dedicated to intelligent mobility and the digitalization of transport. This event took place between May 22nd and 24th at the Lisbon Congress Center, under the theme “ITS: The Game Changer”. It brought us the future of transport through various presentations and demonstrations.

Filipe Cabral Pinto, from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department, took part in the Recovery and Resilience Plan NextGen Mobility project panel, where the project’s various partners presented the test bed to be available to organizations wishing to develop and validate their products and services in the area of intelligent mobility. Altice Labs’ infrastructure and equipment were presented, including the B5G experimental network and the data management platform. This session was attended by all the NextGen Mobility partners.

The session on mobility-oriented test beds was also attended by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo. The Recovery and Resilience Plan sees the test beds as “innovation hubs, operating in a collaborative logic between the companies responsible for their operation and the companies and startups to whom they provide services related to experimenting with and testing new products and/or services (…)”.
