The Coimbra Institute of Engineering (ISEC) held, on the 10th of January, a seminar entitled “Estás convocado para a War Room. Preparado?”, which was presented by Sérgio Barbosa, from Altice Labs’ Network and Platform Services department.
The goal of this session was to complement the students’ knowledge with what happens after the software is deployed in production. An integrated view of the relationship between the development and support teams was presented, so that the students were more aware of this area.
Sérgio Barbosa also took the opportunity to present his professional context, highlighting Altice Labs’ presence in the international market. At the end, he also shared information about the projects to which students can apply for summer, academic or professional internships.
