On September 27th, Altice Labs participated in the “Largest Engineering Fair in the country”, the Job Fair at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra (FENGE). This event brought Altice Labs closer to university students, serving as an opportunity to introduce Altice Labs to young and talented individuals who are eager to enter the professional world.

During the event, we had the opportunity to introduce not only our internship program Altice Labs Innovation Academy, but also our organization’s distinct culture. At our stand, students had the opportunity to meet member of our team, including one of our newest interns, Diogo Cruz, from the Network Systems Development department. This personal interaction allowed them to get a realistic view of our working atmosphere and the values we stand for.

Additionally, this year we had a new feature: a cube equipped with motors attached to inertia wheels and the corresponding control electronics, which allow it to be actively balanced on three of its edges or on one of its vertices. This project was carried out by a summer intern at Altice Labs and was supervised by Fernando Morgado and Fausto Carvalho, both from the Innovation Strategy and Digital department.

Our participation in the job fair was a rewarding experience for fostering interaction between our organization and the students. We hope that some of them will soon join our team, so that together we can build an innovative future.
