The World Usability Day is celebrated all over the world since 2005 to raise awareness among the community on the importance of Usability in Education, Health, Communication, Privacy and Entertainment.

On the 10th November, the Usability and User eXperience team of Altice Labs was invited to join this movement by the Domain of Applied Research PIU “Perception, Interaction and Usability” of the Center for Computer Graphics (CCG).

Among the CCG representative speakers (Bosch, NOS, IADE e CITEVE), the Usability and UX team presented the lecture “UX at Altice Labs – Strategy and Impact”. The organization, the work that the Usability and UX team has been developing and the associated challenges and gains were the main points of the lecture.

Inês Oliveira, from the Usability and UX team of Altice Labs, present at the event, stated: “It’s relevant to understand the interest that exists on the pratical application of what are, many times, in diverse contexts, theoretical concepts. The sharing of our experience and what we do, specially how we daily materialize our work, our conquests and our difficulties, have been generating a lot of interest in the workshops in which we have been present. We always receive many questions and feel great acceptance. It was no different at CCG. This was another proof point that we are on the right track, by the interest generated, and for knowing what others are doing, in the same area.”
